1 Year Down, an Eternity to Go....

It has been a roller coaster, can anyone relate to that? LOL.

We, as you probably guessed, went to Boston for our one year Anniversary. We had a really great time. :)

When we went to Puerto Rico, the hotel we stayed at was the Double Tree. It was literally spectacular. The room, the service, the view, everything. But it was Puerto Rico. We stayed at the Double Tree in Boston as well, for "tradition sake" and we thought it would be just as cool. Not so much. BUT we did have a really great time in the city.

The first night we were there, Ross' parents were actually with us. They were going to the temple with us the next day so we spent some time with them in the city. We had a ton of fun. We went to the harbor and then to Quincy Market. Then we went on the longest search ever for the "original" Cheers bar. I say original because they made a 2nd one right downtown but we wanted the real thing. We finally found it. We walked literally about 5 miles but we found it and had dinner. It was a fun adventure to say the least. :)

The next day we went to the temple of course and we also took a long nap haha. Lame but so needed. That walk was extensive. When we woke up we went out to dinner at the Melting Pot. Did you know you have to cook your own meal there?? Expensive, long, we were stuffed, but we spent it together. :)

We were so stuffed that we ate the top layer of our wedding cake the next day. LOL.

(Doesn't my husband have a beautiful smile? :)

(we were in a hotel, therefore the crappy pictures)

We ate one little piece each, all our stomach could handle.

We also got to go to the Aquarium while we were there. On a VERY raining day, I might add. But it was really fun and interesting. I'd never been to one and it's no secret that we love the ocean so it was nice to learn more about some creatures and see some fun shows.

We got to touch star fish..

And sting rays....

We ate too much and slept too much. It was a perfect weekend :)

I. am. a. saleswoman.

And I like it!

I officially started selling Arbonne in July :)

Their products are all botanically based, vegan certified, and contain no animal by products. So extremely healthy :)

Why I decided to do this - First and most important, I LOVE♥ the products. It makes me happy to know I'm not putting anything with any animal fat, poop, mineral oil or parabens on my skin. Second reason is Ross and I want to buy a house next year. HUGE deal, I know. And we really want a big down payment - solution? Arbonne. I really want to take what I earn and put it towards something that will make me super happy - a rundown, character filled home that I can spend all my days fixing up and making ours. ♥

With Arbonne your dreams can seriously come true. I have met tons of amazing women (and men, for that matter) who have invested their time and energy into this company and have been rewarded with something they thought they could never get - an amazing life!

If you're interested please check out their website, and contact me with any questions.

ChicCanvas of the Volga River....

It's just been one of those lazy Sunday afternoons. Both my boys are taking naps...

So I decided to write a little something. I've been meaning to post about this for a while but it just took us a little bit to get a picture.

So awhile back we ordered a canvas from Chic Canvas through One King's Lane that was 50% off. Go us! But when we got it, the color (Ross took the picture in Sephia on his camera which kinda turns out a little pink) just didn't look right and didn't go well with our taupe colored walls. So we called to see if we could reorder it in Black and White. Well they sent us another one free of charge and we didn't need to send the first one back. :) Which was amazing because we pretty much just got two canvas' for the price of half of one (and these weren't cheap to begin with) Well seeing that we weren't going to use the other one, we were trying to sell it. Ross didn't want to put it on Craigslist because he didn't want to buy a copyright for it but didn't want someone else to take the credit, Sooo we were asking friends and family if they wanted it. Finally a friend of mine had seen the one in our living room and asked about it and I offered her the other (pinkish) one. Which surprising she said would go perfect in her dining room. :)

Here's her's:

And here's ours:

(It's a picture of a branch over the Volga River in Russia btw)

So with $50 extra dollars in our pocket, we're pretty thankful for the generosity of Chic Canvas for sending us two.

Now that Ross sold his first photograph, he's had the craving to sell more and even thought about doing it as a side job for a little bit there. Just one of those fun hobbies that could potentially earn you some extra lovely mula.

:)

I love when stuff works in your favor.

It's been so hot in the North Country, we've been doing alot of this latley:
